Ha I love my MIL, she is really sweet. But she did the same thing to me and I HATED it. I was surprised by how much it grated me :) i think my daughter is actually a pretty good mix. She looked like her dad/my MIL more as a toddler and she is looking like me more now that she is 5. But you could always see it both ways. Just chiming in to say I hear you OP. It is grating. But it also doesn’t matter :) and overall it means a well loved child which is perfect. Just keep smiling at it, and if you feel the need to say that your baby looks like you just say it too. Remember to keep a light and humorous perspective on this though![/quote]
