This is total BS. There would be Sunday football and they would see family more often. They would be fine with a beer and a pizza. Family gatherings don't have to be family drama, it's just women make up some Norman Rockwell imagine in their head.

Oh, please.  What is there not to love about turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy, [b]mac & cheese, green beans w/bacon[/b], pumpkin pie and other delicious treats?

Yuck. I don't want mac & cheese on Thanksgiving. I'm from New England and squashes, maple sweet potatoes, other root vegetables, brussel sprouts, corn pudding and plus cranberry sauce are a must.[/quote]

And I would take my mac & cheese over your maple sweet potatoes any day of the week.  I even like sweet potatoes but my homemade mac & cheese is the bomb....and, it's something my kids will eat.  There is that too.[/quote]

I make homemade mac & cheese (white sauce) as one of the sides. Hit with kids and adults. I buy Applewood bacon from the deli and top it with that.  PP may be thinking it's like the box kind of something.  [/quote]
