Yup, also was/am one. Except we just bought a house and it got me really interested in the SA boundary process. Though we tended to pay more attention than most cause we're political dorks, I completely understand why deF won with the number of 20 something apt dwellers who voted straight dem. I almost don't blame them since at the federal level party dictates most of your voting behavior, but until you get local politics you don't get it.[/quote]

I am in the same situation as the PP you responded to. No one said anything about old farts, but yes in general they don’t know any better. Why would they follow this stuff? They don’t pay property taxes. There’s no reason to become invested. I never knew and/or cared before becoming a homeowner. I spent plenty of years as a young childless NA renter voting the Democratic sample ballot. [/quote]
