Over the years, I've watched many Hill parents who aren't wealthy become open-minded about public middle school options as their kids get into the upper ES grades. The reality is that if you really don't want to move, and can't at least pay for Friends Community School up the BWP for multiple kids, the options you have gradually bear closer scrutiny.  SH is really coming along with its honors classes.

All the high SES families at Hobson don't hire tutors for advanced kids, or don't hire them much. [/quote]
