Uh, no  First of all the NY Times is in no position to judge Charlottesville. I don't subscribe anymore because of their made-up stories - this is one example.  I was there during the march the Friday night and Saturday.  It's a non-issue now in Charlottesville - no march permits have been granted. Definitely a past subscriber and contributer.  NYT is going downhill fast.  Yes, march (not match) permits were not issues and most of those ringleaders involved have signed agreements never to return to the city to protest.  You would know that if you had read up about it.  This is a non-issue in Charlottesville.  The top ringleaders however HAVE received a march permit to march in D.C.[/quote]
