So really, that's relevant to how she would practice as a midwife. They also believed that marijuana and LSD were sacraments; I'm convinced that in many of the births she describes in her books the women and midwives were high or tripping. Groovy! I went to jr high and high school with a kid who had grown up on The Farm.
