If you feel uncomfortable, that is your choice not to attend, but do you really know how much money gets raised by events like these? I have sat on the committees for school auctions, and charity galas. School auctions can bring in 200K plus that goes towards scholarships. I think that's pretty cool. Galas can bring in has much as 2million for a cause. [/quote]
