As an Episcopalian, I am also an Anglican who follows Anglican theology and worship style. I say I’m an Episcopalian and it wouldn’t occur to me to use Anglican. If an American person says they’re Anglican, goes to the trouble of making that distinction, then they are memebers of the church that broke from TEC due to issues regarding ordination of women, gay people or of fully allowing gay people to be members of the church by offering them the sacrament of marriage.

Some people will say that TEC got kicked out of the Worldwide Anglican Comminion. This is fake news. [/quote]
