If the former renter violated a ton of tolls, or the next renter does the same and you havent deleted the car rental license plate from your acct, your EZ pass account will be charged fir the unpaid tolls/fines. I always just pay the cash/toll in person at the booth and never use my EZ pass when renting, because the license plate from the rental will signal the tolls that may not be mine. Does that make sense? I'm not writing clearly today.....I guess you could just rent the transponder from the rental agency for the daily fee to avoid any problems.[/quote]
