Thus proving my point that the only reason people have the Gadsen license plate today is because they are a fan of mildly supremacist ideologies and dog-whistle politics. The license plate was introduced in 2011 to support anti-social Tea Party politics, not to pay homage to a historical relic of colonial America.

They might follow the Tea Party.  They might be libertarians.  They might be former Marine.  Or current Marine.  Or a student of the Revolutionary War.  Or someone who really likes snakes.   They could be any of these things.  Reasonable people do not dismiss their neighbors because of their license plate.  That's incredibly un-American.
