He's a Sales Associate.  Being a manager would be too much work and he doesn't want the stress.  He could have been a Team Leader but said it wasn't worth the extra $5k per year for the additional work and stress.

I guess he is happy enough or would have found something else.  Never says. He is very defensive of the company so definitely drank the WW koolaid.

A good father?

We married when he was 44.  I was 48.  Neither of us have any children.  Having no children has been one of the decisions I have not regretted.

No, he rarely talks to me.  If I say, this is what happened at work today, he'll say, I've already heard it.  We have no physical contact. I recently tried to discuss my retirement options since I will be 65 next year but he was too busy playing a game on the PC to talk with me.
