As for hiring a morbidly obese person, it all comes down to presentation. I had an obese coworker who always dressed well in button down shirts and slacks. He probably spent a fortune in tailoring, but aside from being big, there were no negative aspects to his weight. Very intelligent, very competent. Now I have also worked with a woman who dressed inappropriately (her shirt would often pinch into the folds of fat and ride up to show skin around the waist). She made noises as she got up and sat down that made her sound like she was 90 years old and emphyzemic. The issue was not the weight specifically, but how she handled it. [/quote]
