As a bisexual woman, my idea of the "ideal weight" for a woman went up significantly when I realized my sexual attraction for my same sex. When I had thought I was straight, I couldn't be thin enough. If people told me I was too thin, I thought they were "just jealous". The idea that a man would be attracted to an overweight or fuller figured woman seemed ridiculous to me, a lie. I remember distinctly having a discussion with a gay male friend of mine. He was talking about a girl who worked in our office, who was overweight, and how he thought one of the law partners had a crush on her. I was rolling my eyes like- please. I truly thought- if there's anyone he would have a crush on, it's me. I keep my weight maintained, I'm cute- she's huge! he kept saying, "lots of guys like that", but I just thought he was being crazy. Cut to me admitting my attraction for other women and embracing it. The only women I truly find myself attracted to are "fuller figured". The breasts, the hips, the stomach, the thighs- OMG. For me, I absolutely love it. Obviously there is a limit when it comes to obesity, but there is something so sensuously feminine about big curves. It made me realize that my whole quest to be a skinny rail was so silly. Now I'm much freer with what I eat. Once you realize what men are tapping into when they see the female figure- and it's all about the jiggle, the circular slope of the flesh, etc- you will never again feel the desire to see your own hipbones protruding, if you are a female. Just my 2 cents.
