Yeah as a kid I started checking other...  I was filling out a new patient form the other day and the very first line had 4 boxes you could check.  African American, Asian, white and Hawaiian.  Really Hawaiian?!?!?!  I immediately shredded the document and chose another doctor.[/quote]

OMG!!  This drives me batty.  They won't even let you check other anymore in MCPS.  No Mixed Race Unspecified anymore.  You HAVE to choose from the boxes.

When DS enrolled in K, I checked off an extra box just for good measure.  What, are they going to make me prove it??  Ridiculous.  Why do they need to pigeon hole my kid before he even starts K?[/quote]
