Yes, if you are in certain industries in those cities everyone is making big money. But outside of those industries, salaries are much much lower. Even glamorous jobs in entertainment, media, and marketing/PR, you will be hard pressed to find someone making 150k who isn't management. I know because I work in one of those non-legal/financial/tech fields. Breaking through that threshold is much harder than you think.[/quote]
