Can you qualify this is what elementary school you're zoned for?

Because remember everything is still under discussion and review and new proposals may also come out in the next several weeks.

So maybe if MCPS sees that there is a good faction of families willing to go to Crown, they can come up with something to make everyone happy.

ie draw in your elementary school, Jones Lane ES (don't know how this school got drawn in the conversation), Fields Road ES and Rosemont to Crown HS.

This frees up Wootton to take in portions of Churchill, helping it with it's overcrowding issues and [b]maybe have Horizon Hill returned to it,[/b] making some of the older Horizon Hills residents happy.

The Crown location is going to open either way but it's not hard to fill it with the immediate surrounding areas without closing Wootton.

Having to close Wootton is questionable.  Where one would hope/think that MCPS had the budget to keep it open and running down the road, even if it's held together by ducttape.  Unless there really had been a plan for a while to close it and is why they never devoted funds to it.[/quote]
Most of HH don't want to go to Wootton.   Most of the ones who want HH to go back to Wootton don't even have kids in school anymore.
