I personally know an outstanding student in graduate school for … wait for it …. math. Einstein grad. Please don’t act like the kids there aren’t being educated, don’t get high level math etc. you all act like they get nothing and that’s not the case. That said, just not sure exactly what the Einstein families want with regard to Woodward.
apparently they want MVC and an arts program. and one wants to not reduce overcrowding at Einstein in order to keep more classes.
It’s like 2 or 3 loud people who think what they want is what everyone should want. Their opinions are likely not representative of the entire community and MVC lady’s kid is old enough that the changes will not directly affect her.
DP It's already been explained multiple times. It's the confluence of all the factors. Neither the boundary proposals nor the intiial regional proposal offer anything of value to Einstein besides reducing overcrowding. On the contrary, they seem to point to a loss of programming for students and fewer options. I personally - that's me, an individual whose child is zoned for Einstein, I am not some amorphous being called "the DCC" - think ending the DCC is the right approach, and keeping more kids in the home school will benefit Einstein. But honestly, the timeline for developing and implementing the regional programs is completely batsh!t insane and anyone saying "I just don't know what the DCC wants!" Is a gaslighting POS. It's going to be a disaster for those first kids that go through it and especially a disaster in the DCC where they are taking something away and replacing it with something they have no good plan to staff or fund.
