What does this mean?  You and I take a bunch of TS files home, nobody is giving us chances to “bring them back” or “cooperate”.

Let’s review shall we?  They discovered he had left with documents.  They produced a subpoena to look for items.  They removed the items earlier in the year.  They realized there was still missing stuff.  They asked again nicely via subpoena.  [b]Trump said “maybe, but I guess you can put a padlock on it”. [/b] So the FBI goes and asks for a warrant because what the heck else were they supposed to do.

The subpoena for these records was over a month ago.  Some of the stuff was classified information.  What else is one supposed to assume Trump is saying other than “maybe”.  I will take him at his word that he didn’t just say “no.”

Again, if it was you or me, we wouldn’t have had an opportunity for a month to ignore a subpoena requiring the return of highly classified information that we had improperly taken.  [/quote]
