When the doctors, nurses and staff at doctors offices stop wearing masks, then I'll consider it. But until then, if they are wearing masks, then I am wearing a mask. Face it, as a teacher, I am much more likely to come across someone with Covid than they are. If they are wearing masks in their sterile environment, then I will wear a mask in my very unsterile environment. And I expect everyone else around me to wear a mask as well. If they don't, then I will leave.
That literally makes no sense. They are dealing with sick people all the time. It makes sense they mask. I wouldn’t blame them if they wanted to do it forever this point.
??? Covid has only had pandemic status for the past 2 years. Prior to Covid they didn't wear masks regularly or require them. Because of Covid they now wear them and require them. Of course her post makes sense. You're the one being obtuse. Now that I think about it, I completely agree. When the staff in doctors and nurses offices stop wearing masks, then kids in school can stop wearing them. Until then, masks on.
Humans invented the nuclear bomb, supercomputers and transplanted organs, but only figured out the magic cotton worked 2 years ago. Mind you - 14 RCTs were done prior to 2020 on the flu and masks, which showed no statistical difference. But masks work. Also, the only solid RCT on masks and COVID showed cloth masks don't work. But masks work. Even though it's not a law for adults, let's forcibly masks children for the rest of time. We have no idea what forced masking for 2+ years does for kids' development, but masks work until proven they don't work. Makes sense.
