If you have a ton of information proving Flynn is a 'traitor', why settle for one charge of lying to the FBI? After all, you have proof of him being a traitor which is far worse, right??

Why is the Kisliak call important? Because on 12/29/2016, Flynn was vacationing in the DR where calls were not secure, and where they are out of US jurisdiction (i.e. no need to request unmasking - they can just get the transcript and recording of the call. Then Flynns name is leaked to Ignatius at the WaPo, whic is a crime.[/quote]
