Dorit pretending that she needed to tell Erika because she'd been burned before just shows how socially off Dorit is. Last season she keeps a (hurtful unfunny slutshaming) 'joke' going about PK seeing Erika without panties and staring. So now she 'doesn't want to be in trouble for talking to the ladies and not her'... basically she's sucking up to Erika by throwing others under the bus. She talked up the comments and exaggerated the way in which they were delivered to make it more meanspirited/gossipy/dramatic. In the flashbacks the voices were flat/calm and not a big deal. Even the way she described LVP leaving lunch was exaggerated. LVP was like "I'm leaving. Not fun. Bye" but she wasn't as exaggerated as Dorit's version she tried to sell to others.

Dorit is that girl in HS who wanted to be popular but just couldn't get it right. Still can't. You feel sorry for her/try to help and then she accidentally/on purpose f*cks you over or makes you like an idiot just for being with her so you have to ditch her. every moment with her is cringeworthy I think I love to hate it.[/quote]
