What is it you think I am asking here that merits this response?

I am trying to figure out why so much of the conversation has been dominated by the idea of him being an intelligence asset, as if that is somehow the *most* important thing.

Part of me wonders if this is a distraction from actual accountability for the people who participated or enabled this monstrous and maybe murderous network.

The people who enabled the monstrous network were the intelligence officials!

No way would it have continued past 2008 if it was not for them. It likely would not have continued past Maria and Annie Farmer’s initial complaint in the 90s.

Because of those intelligence officials in US, we have now been embroiled in war in the Middle East for 30+ years, lost $9T, probably lost universal health care which might have been possible without all the years of additional debt, women’s health care especially, and now democracy in general.[/quote]
