I feel I have a right to defend myself. I believe I am the "Prep Booster" you are talking about. I was just stating that I believe Prep to be a better institution. Look, my wife graduated from NCS, so am I by no means boosting Prep unnecessarily. I genuinely see the graduates of Prep speaking of nothing but camaraderie, whereas at St. Albans, multiple men spoke of social insecurity - that they felt intimidated by the school.
That is great that you likd Prep or whatever so much. I have no idea what school you are even talking about to be honest, but I am interested in STA for my child which is why I came to this thread so why don't you post about Prep on another thread and don't hijack the STA thread. Thank you.
Insecurity.
Ditto. Spot on.
There are several types of posters. I know many students who had applied to Prep, Landon, STA, and Gonzaga. Smart not all great athletes. Some are. What seems to be happening on this thread is the "neighborhood" cool school for families with little kids versus the application to a school for the teenager. Prep guys do have camaraderie but so do guys at the other schools. There are boys at Prep with social insecurity which is different than being insecure about one's status or potential in the world. STA also has boys who are insecure socially. I like both schools.
