There are four HYS ECRL Girls teams. 07/08, 09, 11,13. Two of the four won.
What do you mean? There are 2010s and 2012s as well.
Those are Sterling teams.
How are Sterling teams playing for Herndon? Isn't Herndon required to field Herndon teams?
Sterling and Herndon announced a merger for older girls teams. I think it's on Sterling's website.
There has been no announcement of such a merger to older Herndon families by HYS.
It's probably because Herndon wants to keep it quiet because it's just a ploy to get fully formed girls teams to play under the HYS banner so that they don't get kicked out of ECNL-R for not having enough representation on the girls side. They sold it to the Sterling families as "your high school girls will now be scouted by colleges because they are playing in ECNL-R" and the punchline is that the girls on these Sterling teams are paying 1/2 what the other players on the Herndon teams are paying.
