So business should be flocking here, right? Unfortunately, that’s not the way it works. Developers build housing where demand is strongest and risk is lowest. Those are overwhelmingly places with strong job growth. This is why there’s a lot of housing growth in the sun belt. The jobs came first. If you want more housing, advocate for job growth. [/quote]
