This isnt the issue.

The issue us that age guy wants older players to play down against younger ones. When you add grade to US Soccers eligibility matrix it makes it impossible for him to try and sneak in playing down.

Even more of an issue to age guys play down agenda is if Aug birthdays play on their correct grade in school team. This is because when Aug birthdays play on their correct grade in school team everyone on the field is the same graduating year. (except holdbacks) Which ultimately is what college coaches want when recruiting/scouting players. Meaning any grade is 100 percent allowed to play in any age group as long as their DOB fits.

Correct, which is why I said "most likely X grade" on my matrix. You cant list a bunch of grades that might be an age group because any grade can be in that age group.

College coaches drive club soccer when players get to HS. Like it or hate it. Which is why everyone caters to them when players are older. They are the glue that keeps parents paying club fees. If college coaches scouted HS soccer games nobody would pay for club soccer for olders.[/quote]
