Republicans only care about the wealthy (corporations and people).  They'll hold the middle and lower classes hostage to get concessions - corporate welfare or tax breaks. Then the Republicans will turn on their media hype machine to blame Dems for any pain their constituents felt. R constituents will fall for it hook, line, and sinker. Rinse and repeat. [/quote]

99% of the politicians in Congress who carry an R or D next to their names are forced to prioritize the interests of their wealthy donors over the interests of the American people. It's past time for Americans to wake up to this reality and force change. [/quote]

We can't count on the R & D politicians to do it now that they are full on addicted to it. We could vote them out but that's easier said than done. There is no easy solution. Our major political parties and their wealthy donors have us by the balls.[/quote]
