The numbers are soaring for migration around the world, Europe is seeing the same phenomenon.  Why?  Migrants are more connected than ever. Don't be obtuse. It's generations of f-ed up AMERICAN (both parties) foreign policy. You don't get to just push aside the fact that America has overthrown leaders and destroyed countries over decades and decades which leads to this mess. A country doesn't get an immediate do-over when you've destroyed the means for them to function as a country. It's no coincidence that most migrants come from countries that had interference from US/western govts. There's nothing more obnoxious than American obtuseness when it comes to that fact.

Having said that, I think the mayor of NYC is a POS and the governor, more so. To hand $ to these people rather than process them to WORK, is what will create leeching.
