Given how seriously ill Eleanor is, I am glad that the kids have another stable adult in their lives, given that their mom has landed herself in PRISON and all.

Read the DM article, it has some of the divorce docs. She was actively soliciting sex with men and women while married and even brought a man back to the marital home when the young kids were home, prior to the split. JOEL is not the problem here. GTFO with that BS. Eleanor is the problem and has been for a long time. There may be partial explanations: mania, possible csa, possible MI, etc but she also had naked sex in a public park in broad daylight in 2019, those docs are linked in the DM story too. Then she seems to have a very detailed and PRACTICED approach to horrific sexual abuse of young kids. Hopefully he picked better in his second marriage. The kids will have both genetic susceptibility to mental illness and possible abuse trauma. The more stability and the more normal adults, the better. [/quote]

I mean why are you assuming so much here? Why do you assume the dad is blameless and innocent and that he’s a good parent? Why do you assume that his second wife is stable and a good stepparent? I dont get that. Maybe the dad, Joel, is great. Maybe he had no idea what was going on w EHH. But the truth is you don’t know that for a fact and neither do I. If anything, it seems this case should cause us to be less trusting of others and more aware of all the evils of the world. I hope for the kids’ sake that their dad and stepmom are good people, good parents. But I think it’s very bizarre to just blindly assume that they are until we know more about this case. (Which we might never have access to that info)[/quote]
