Untrue.  Russia also sent elite Spetznaz, Airborne VDV and other elite units, many of whom also got chewed up.  Not to mention the half dozen or so Russian generals who have been killed along with dozens of colonels and lieutenant colonels.  It's not just conscripts as cannon fodder.  Russia is taking serious and significant losses.[/quote]
