Yes! I'm wondering what her lawyers may be telling her. Could Jenelle have a case for custody? Is she in the right path? Barb seemed super concerned about how all this would look "in court", and it seemed she was concerned for herself. I think the courts would be nuts to give him back, but they love reuniting families, and his siblings are with Jenelle. Who knows. Time will tell.[/quote]

See, I saw it more as being concerned about what David is capable of.  She hasn't had issues filing reports against Jenelle in the past.  I read the whole scene as Barbara wanting to document that David had possession of Jace and wouldn't produce him on demand.  Given that she and Jenelle have been able to communicate, however dysfuncitonally, before and are now not, it all seems to go back to David, whom we've all said here looks to be an abuser.  Once Jace was down there and she knew he was safe, she was concerned with getting it all documented with the police.  She wasn't worried about Jace's overall safety--there were plenty of producers and familiar faces around on the sidewalk--but he was alone with David and Jenelle, she was concerned.[/quote]
