So many shenanigans, I literally can’t stand it. CANNOT STAND.

Also, remember how many times I reminded you that I was going to turn 50 for an entire year before I actually did? It was a lot so expect SO MANY precious reminders that I have now reached the half-century pinnacle, along with reminders that you are enough and that you can be FIERCE at any age you are. Not as fierce as me, naturally, but we can all have goals, COMMUNITY.

Also, LOVE YOURSELVES and LOVE YOUR BODIES, droolings. You KNOW, that’s something I’ve always talked about. ALWAYS since the beginning of time, even way back when I went to church before my traumatic divorce and the deconstructions. I HAVE ALWAYS TALKED ABOUT BODY IMAGE.

We are hashtag obsessed with Europe, BTW. SO. IN. LOVE. I was so surprised at how many people know who I am here but I guess I shouldn’t be. Jane Capsticher Book Club Members (go #JCBC) are everywhere. We’ve made so many new friends, and we’ve been invited into the homes of strangers who are now are deerest, deerest friends for pannenkoeken, which is - HILARIOUSLY - pancakes. I have held so many adorably squishy-cheeked Dutch babies and hugged so many of the DARLING, DEAR gay uncles. I tried to explain the concept of Guncle to Johan, and he just offered me a cigarette, so I think something might have been lost in translation, but that’s OK. We told stories and laughed until we WEPT. There was so much hugging. It was so PRECIOUS.

SO INCREDIBLY BUSY, but wanted to take a moment to send my love to you, COMMUNITY, to let you know that I’ve decided to scout #MeCamp locations a little earlier this year, so be on the watch for an all-new European-inspired list of my requirements. Still must be near water, but I’ll be adding a few dozen things based on my recent travels. To Europe. Which is where I am. Celebrating my FIFTIETH.
