The field of veterinary medicine has advanced tremendously in the last 50 years, even the last 25. The research and development and medical equipment are very expensive. The cost of health care in general has skyrocketed over the last 50 years.[/quote] Follow the money. The basic care hasn't increased in value, but someone's making a LOT more money.[/quote]
