Belgium has some French communities, Haiti is French speaking, a lot of African countries have French as their official language. Canada where Quebec hung on to French with all their might but England still managed to take away the French language from many areas. England colonized Canada and mandated English. Why would French be relevant enough for children to learn it? [/quote]
