I’m not saying it’s okay (as someone who is not Native American, it’s not up to me to decide what Native Americans should or shouldn’t be offended by). However, a group of football fans cheering on their team is not the same as the Klan, which is known for burning crosses and lynchings, and to equate the two trivializes the terrible suffering from the violent persecution that has been perpetrated for so many years. Incidentally, I’m not a sports fan and don’t have any gear under either team name. [/quote]
