WTF are you talking about? Chesterbrook shopping plaza was completely revamped and 'downtown' Mclean got a new grocery store and a dozen restaurants.[/quote]

They need to tear down Chesterbrook and start over. Get rid of that decrepit Safeways. Elsewhere there are actual plans drawn up for the shopping center on Chainbridge (Giant). At one point they were going to replace it with a complex similar to Mosaic-ish. I wish they do it already. Half of the stores facing Old Dominion are empty. [/quote]
The tiny converted houses where Sushiko and Rx pharmacy operated, closed over 4-5 years ago. It’s still sitting empty. [/quote]
