Schumer just made an offer to the Republicans.

Thune called it a nonstarter. Johnson won’t even let his caucus come to work.

Schumer’s offer links reopening the government with extending the ACA subsidies. They are two completely different issues.  His offer lacks seriousness. There’s nothing to negotiate. Pass a clean CR first. [/quote]
