I think the key is to be up front with your potential employer (after you get an offer) but also be clear that your work won't suffer because of the flexibility for the kids.  Are you just worried that you won't be able to leave work early to pick up the kids?  Or that you can't work at home?  If you're able to work at home, why not suggest to them that you will leave early to pick up the kids on x,y,z days (whatever days your husband can't get them) and that you will then work from home after they're in bed (or whatever).  If you start the discussion, you might be surprised at how willing they are to accommodate you, particularly if you show you won't be skimping on the amount of work you'll be doing.  After all, they will have offered you the job at this point, they obviously want you to work there.

I think you have to be honest about the reality of having the kids and what that's like day to day but there's no reason why it can't work out.  Good luck![/quote]
