In Kenya the coast in the Indian ocean is unlike anything I've ever laid my eyes on. Wild, beautiful, unspoiled. But really the landscape, the wildlife. What you see on TV pales in comparision to what your eyes see up close. It is like looking back in time, to a time when the earth was wild. I'm pulled because all of that is dying. It will be gone in our lifetime. The poaching and the demand from China for these animal tusks, horns, and various body parts is overwhelming the land. The corruption of these governments is allowing it to happen and the people who are trying to save it are overwhelmed and beaten. It is like watching an apocalypse. Its sad. [/quote]
