No - but I'd like to - what are some options? FWIW, my daughter is very into K-Pop, esp. the group Got7
NP here - some of my very favorites have been: Healer (watched this twice, which I never do but I loved it that much) City Hunter (I found the ending slightly meh, but not enough so to ruin the rest of the show for me, it was great) Answer Me series (1997, 1988, 1994 in that order - so so good) Shut Up: Flower Boy Band Misaeng Pinnochio Return of Iljimae If you're interested in trying out a few shows, it's worth a DramaFever subscription, which is like $4/month.
Interesting - I loved the 80s Anime of City Hunter way back in the day; I didn't know there was a new series. Is it an over the top comedy (like the anime) or is it fairly grounded?
No, it's not really comedy (although there is a lot of levity), it's a more serious revenge / love story for the most part. I'd say fairly grounded, not realistic, but relatable. I loved it, and wish there would be a sequel. I think it came out in 2012, with Lee Min Ho (I think he got famous with Boys Over Flowers, which is totally over the top but somehow hilariously watchable anyway - he is LOVELY to look at, if nothing else) an Park Min Young, who is also in Healer and is totally charming. Worth a watch, for sure!
