I personally like this look for me because my tops are usually looser which is perfect since I'm an apple shape and I love wearing scarves. Leggings are super comfortable and balance out the bulk of the loose top on my petite frame, if in skinny jeans it's because they look best with long boots.  Why long boots?  Because I get COLD.  And I hate feeling cold so the long boots paired with a long top and knee length coat keep me the most warm.  More so than jeans and booties.  Easy to put together so I don't have to think much about clothes in the winter, which is also perfect since I'm not much of a pre-planner and am racing to get my clothes on after a shower on a cold winter morning.

Oddly though, I never wear those quintessential summer dresses.  [/quote]
