I think if you just write about interesting characters in interesting situations and avoid the sort of clichéd conflict that was alluded to in a previous post (like gay characters being murdered, or committing suicide, or realizing that they aren't actually gay and can have their happily ever after with someone of the opposite sex), then you'll have success. Also, why not get to know some interesting LGBT folks and pull from their own lives and experiences? [/quote]
