What are Germany and Ireland like? Would you go there in December? any other places I should consider?
A quick web search gave me weather info for Germany and Ireland. Germany: Average Temperatures in December: Average low 27° F, average high 41° F in January: Average low 23° F, average high 40° F in February: Average low 25° F, average high 41° F I don't feel like looking up Ireland, but you should feel free to. I believe it is a bit warmer than Germany, and doesn't get below freezing as much.
Haha. That's funny. Eire and Northern Ireland are very much north of Germany. Hamburg for instance, and Berlin are almost on a par with London for weather. They are pretty northern cities and London is south. All of Ireland is much further north than that, and battered by the sea on all sides! Its super damp and super cold!
Do you know about the jet stream?
