We deliberately waited until our oldest went off to college before replacing our set. I expect it to last at least ten years, but will keep it longer as long as it doesn't look too outdated. Surprisingly, our last set held up well as far as design, and we had to really go out of our way to find a sofa that didn't look like it--a very bland and blah tan microfiber set.

Also, it has electric recliners and realistically, I'm not sure how long that will work for. Our last sofas had manual recliners. If the electrical components go out in the sofa, we will probably get rid of it. [/quote]
