As an aside, my niece just started K at a public school in CA & my brother happened to show me her class's daily schedule while I was visiting. I was happy to see it includes am recess, lunch recess, & pm recess every day so there are still some public schools out there who give kinders 3 recesses. Unfortunately, those schools seem to be few & far between these days & not located in the DC area :( [/quote]
