But even though I'm so much happier now, I still grieve at times the first marriage. The loss of that first wedding and uniting of families. The loss of my first set of in-laws, who were wonderful people.

Life isn't black and white. I take the memories and sadness as they comes. This is part of my past and I'm allowed to have mixed emotions about it. But then, I snuggle my precious baby (who wouldn't exist had things not occurred as they did), kiss my amazing husband, pet my dogs, and give thanks for the beautiful life I've built. [/quote]
