I know Asherman's isn't very common, but I am starting to get worried that I might have it. I had a missed miscarriage and D&C in June, and got a period 1 month later (early July). It was lighter than what I had gotten used to after the birth of my son 2 years ago, but otherwise pretty normal. I haven't had a period since then... just some really light spotting on CD34-35. I am now on CD48. My cycles have never been long or irregular. My son was born via unplanned C-section (fetal malpresentation), and right around the time my periods started coming back, I started having this pain in my right lower abdominal/groin area that comes and goes. It's not like any pain I have ever felt before... not sharp, just nagging and feels very deep and hard to localize. I recall that in the hours after the section I had a lot of pain on the right side that did not go away easily with whatever pain meds they were giving me. But it never bothered me again until my periods came back. This might sound crazy, but I am starting to worry that I have some scar tissue/adhesions from the C-section that got worse with the recent D&C. which is why I am not getting my period now. My miscarriage was marked by unusually long bleeding around the time of implantation and subsequent slow growth, and I wonder if that happened because the embryo implanted into scar tissue or something and just couldn't get going. Tissue testing came back 46XX (which I know could have been my cells). I got bloodwork done at my OB's office on CD41 and everything came back in the normal range, with progesterone of 5.8 indicating I am in the luteal phase. This was done a week ago so I was told I should be getting a period in another week. If I don't, should I try to make an appointment with an RE rather than try to work through this with my OB? On one hand I'm thinking my concerns will be dismissed since the miscarriage wasn't that long ago, and that this could just be my body trying to get back on track. On the other hand I'm worried that if I do have Asherman's it's going to be a long road to figuring things out and don't want to waste more time. If anyone has any thoughts I would very much appreciate them!
