Having had two  kids graduate from DCPS and my last one almost done, let me assure you, it will all be okay. Unpredictable calendars, some bad teachers, unruly classmates, whatever; DC kids do great in college and beyond Give your kids (and your probably enriching homes) a little credit. Sorry for the rant
