To be honest, the pools were a  little crowded for us. Not a lot of room to swim but plenty too cool off or stand around and chat. My 11 year old didn't care for the slide but enjoyed the Lazy River. Also, there are 2 other pools (one near "The Lodge" one near the South Tower) that were empty most of the time so we used those when we wanted.

I would be a little concerned about the weather in March depending on what kind of vacation your are imagining. North Florida may still be chilly for swimming, and I am not sure which pools are heated. There is an indoor pool, but the chlorine smell is unbearable. Really terrible ventilation. However, it will likely be great weather to see St. Augustine. We went a few times and it was really interesting and fun (and hot!).

If you are into boat tours, skip the St. Augustine Scenic Cruise and go for a private tour from ECO Tours. I think it was $250 for 1.5 hours for our family of 4. It may sound pricey but it was really lovely (saw dolphins) and compared to what we spent going into some of the touristy St. Augustine places it was a bargain. I also highly recommend the St. Augustine Alligator Farm. [/quote]
