At first, I thought sarcastically, gosh, their parents  must be so proud, but then the more I read the article, I realized that indeed his parents are at least proud of him because his parents sound like they were racist too.  I assume they have disowned Letourneau not just for being a pedophile, but also because she ended up marrying the boy who is not white.
